Pecan Maple Glazed Pork Loin |

one full pork loin, whole 7-10 lbs 2 cups Lucky Lady Pecans, roughly chopped 4 cups water 4 cups maple syrup 1 cup liquid smoke salt and pepper to taste Preheat oven to 300*F. Place pork loin in a large roasting pan, fat side up if it has one. Pour in water, equally distributing it around the meat. Add liquid smoke and maple syrup, pouring it over the meat and allowing it to mix into the water. Top with pecans. Bake 2-3 hours(depending on the size of your porkloin) to an inerior temperature of 165*F. Allow to rest on countertop for about30 minutes, slice into 1/2 inch slices. Serve two or three slices per serving, drizzle with a tablespoon of maple syrup and garnish with pecans from the pan. |
